G7® Expert LIVE Training - 25-27 October 2023, Seoul, Korea
G7® Expert Training hosted by Idealliance Southeast Asia, Japan & Korea, featuring instructor led hands-on training. G7® Expert Training teaches Experts how to analyze color and print-related issues and take corrective action to bring systems and processes in control to a set method, standard or specification with repeatable, predictable results. G7 Expert Trainer Dr. Kyung-Cheol Song, the exclusive training partner of Idealliance Southeast Asia, Japan & Korea in Korea will lead this 3 days training focusing on G7 based print and packaging applications, and G7 integration, maintenance, and process control across all print and proofing applications. About G7® Expert Live In-Person Certification & Training
Training consists of a variety of components, including lecture, demonstration, production, and extensive hands-on through critical concepts, press runs and print calibration, and analysis. Students are strongly encouraged to bring their measurement devices including hand-held spectrophotometers and other color quality tools and solutions to participate in the included activities to further assist with integrating G7® based color management and process control into their own production environments.
G7 Expert Certification
Registrants also get access to the included certification exam, following training to become a globally recognized, Idealliance certified, G7 Expert. A G7 Expert has demonstrated expertise in the field of color management, process and quality control for proofing and printing utilizing the G7 methodology. A G7 Expert is able to implement G7 based calibration and process control into print workflows, analyze color and print related issues and take corrective action to bring systems and processes in control to a set method, standard or specification with repeatable, predictable results. A G7 Expert has attended and successfully completed an Idealliance G7 Expert Training with a minimum level of 90% proficiency. Certification is valid for two years.

G7 Expert Trainer Dr. Kyung-Cheol Song Dr. Song is a specialist in color management and printing quality control. he obtained his doctorate degree in Printing Engineering from Pukyong National University, where his research focused primarily on color management methods and modules for printing systems. He has dedicated over 20 years to research and lecturing at universities since 2000. Additionally he has accumulated 17 years of expertise in various printing fields, including offset, gravure, flexo, and digital printing since 2005. He is also a G7 Exert and has served as an ISO TC130 Expert since 2010. He has also worked as a consultant for brand owners, suppliers, and printing companies for the last 25 years. Questions?
