This live training is instructor led hands-on training for professionals to experience how to analyze color and print-related issues and take corrective action to bring systems and processes in control to a set method, standard or specification with repeatable, predictable results using the globally recognized G7 methodology. G7 Expert Trainer Mr. Woo-Hyun Cho will lead this multi-day training focusing on G7 based print and packaging applications, and G7 integration, maintenance, and process control across all print and proofing applications.

 

G7® Professional LIVE Training - Idealliance Southeast Asia, Japan & Korea

About G7® Professional Live In-Person Certification & Training

Training consists of a variety of components, including lecture, demonstration, production, and extensive hands-on through critical concepts, press runs and print calibration, and analysis. Students are strongly encouraged to bring their measurement devices including hand-held spectrophotometers and other color quality tools and solutions to participate in the included activities to further assist with integrating G7® based color management and process control into their own production environments.

 

G7 Professional Certification

Registrants also get access to the included certification exam, following training to become a globally recognized, Idealliance certified, G7 Professional. A G7 Professional has demonstrated expertise in the field of color management, process and quality control for proofing and printing utilizing the G7 methodology. A G7 Professional is able to implement G7 based calibration and process control into print workflows, analyze color and print related issues and take corrective action to bring systems and processes in control to a set method, standard or specification with repeatable, predictable results. A G7 Professional has attended and successfully completed an Idealliance G7 Professional Training with a minimum level of 80% proficiency. Certification is valid for two years.

Woo-Hyun Cho

Woo-Hyun Cho is the Principal of the Japan Printing Academy specializing in print quality management and standardization. He is working for 28 years as a technical instructor and also conducting R&D for 16 years related to ‘Printing Technology’, ‘Customer-oriented Quality Management’, and ‘Standardization of Print Production Process’ and ‘Printing Machine Precision Verification & Productization’ and ‘Manufacturing Power’.

Taking advantage of these experiences, he has conducted many seminars and consulting quality management for industry groups and manufacturers of printing companies in Japan, Korea, and China.
