G7 Expert Directory G7® Experts are certified in the field of color management, process and quality control for proofing and printing equipment, and are authorized by Idealliance to implement G7 in the areas of color and print related issues. BrandQ Certified Supply Chain Expert Directory BrandQ® Certified Supply Chain Expert are individuals who have completed comprehensive training and certification in packaging supply chain alignment. BrandQ Experts are certified to perform packaging supply chain site audits to train and align brands, brand owners, and their packaging supply chain providers. Color Management Professional Master Directory Certified Color Management Professionals® (CMP) has proven proficient in the principles and best practices associated with color management implementation in a graphic communications production environment. CMP Master is the highest designation as part of Color Management Professional training and certification. CMP Masters are trained and certified in Color Management Fundamentals, Premedia, and Print - Digital and/or Offset. G7 Process Control Expert Directory G7® Process Control is an extension of the G7 program and is designed to drive process control through the entire print production workflow. The G7 Process Control Master Facility Certification Program is delivered by Idealliance Certified G7 Experts who are also certified as G7 Process Control Experts. Print Planning & Estimating Directory A certified Print Planning & Estimating (PPE) professional has a comprehensive understanding of the critical attributes of print planning and estimating workflows across a range of technology including Digital print, Flexo print, Offset print, Wide Format print that drive profitability for print providers. PQX Expert Directory A certified PQX® Expert has a comprehensive understanding of the Print Quality eXchange (PQX) format of reporting language for print supply chain communication and alignment based on ISO 20616-2: 2020.
Facility Qualifications & Certifications
G7 Master status is granted to physical facilities qualified to use the G7 Proof-to-Print Process and uses the most modern technology, techniques, and press controls to produce a close visual match from proof to print. BrandQ Certified Supply Chain Facility ISO Process Standards Directory BrandQ Certified Supply Chain status is granted to physical facilities who have completed the comprehensive documented 3rd party auditing process and demonstrated that the highest standards of performance are in place for print and packaging supply chain facilities serving brands and brands owners of consumer packaged goods. The Process Control Master Certification Program is designed in module format to serve the total media supply chain, driving process control through the entire print production workflow, for creative agencies, premedia and print providers. Digital Press System Certification - Electrophotographic The Digital Press Certification Program for Electrophotgraphic systems certifies the capabilities of commercial production inkjet, high speed, cut sheet and web, devices to meet specific print standards. The program consists of testing and certification in areas of color, print properties, and print production. It considers the entire press system, including the digital front-end, print engine, and paper. Digital Press System Certification - Inkjet High Speed, Cut Sheet, & Web The Digital Press Certification Program for Inkjet systems certifies the capabilities of commercial production inkjet, high speed, cut sheet and web, devices to meet specific print standards. The program consists of testing and certification in areas of color, print properties, and print production. It considers the entire press system, including the digital front-end, print engine, and paper. ISO/PAS 1533 Digital Press System Certification The ISO/PAS 15339 Digital Press Certification Program certifies the capabilities of commercial digital presses to meet the color space requirements specified by the Characterized Reference Print Conditions (CRPCs) of ISO/PAS 15339. The program is an expanded compliance program to the Idealliance Digital Press Certification for digital printing press manufacturers and evaluates colorimetric accuracy and conformance referencing global specifications for electrophotographic, production inkjet, high speed, cut sheet and web devices. G7 System Certification The G7 System Certification Program evaluates the ability of a software system to calibrate a printing device to meet the G7 grayscale definition using four 1-D Curves. G7 Press Control System Certification G7 Press Control Certification validates a press control system’s ability to monitor and control G7 gray balance and tonality, supporting print service providers’ ability to realize the full benefits of the G7 methodology. Hard Proofing System Certification The Hard Proofing System Certification program conveys a proofing systems capability associated with GRACoL® and SWOP® specifications, and compliance with ISO 12647-7. Soft Proofing System & Display Certification A soft proofing system consists of a display, software, measurement equipment, and a host computer that adjusts incoming data so that a displayed image simulates the appearance of a hard copy proof calibrated to a chosen reference print characterization and viewed under standard lighting. Soft proofing systems are evaluated based on requirements specified in ISO 14861. A display is an LCD flat panel device with fluorescent or LED backlight, a screen resolution of 90 pixels per inch or more, a screen size capable of previewing intended content at full scale, and a gamut that encases the intended reference print condition. Displays are evaluated based on requirements specified in ISO 12646. Wide/Grand Format Inkjet System Certification The Wide/Grand Format Inkjet System Certification Program evaluates original equipment manufacturers’ roll-fed and flatbed large format printing systems. Systems are evaluated for printing, production, and application qualities for a specific ink and media combination. Results of the program inform prospective and current users of large format technologies on which system best meets their production and market needs, as well as how to achieve consistent quality from their printing systems
